The Academy canteen is on the ground floor at Kreuzgasse 5, and has been operating under the management of Hannah Winterhalter since April 2018. It is a vital center for communication and exchange.
Students, instructors and staff all meet here from 8 am to 4 pm on weekdays, for breakfast, lunch or a coffee break. The weekly menu features mainly vegetarian or vegan specialities, and regional and seasonal ingredients are highly valued. Biolemonades and home-made cakes complete the list of food and drinks offered.
The Academy canteen also serves as the smallest stage on the premises with seating for about 25 people.
The room owes its artistic design to Akram Sultan.
